We have indeed a truckload of "living in interesting times" curses lately...
What I find very interesting is that the supposed autocratic, dictatorial Russian government system has exactly the same problem as the liberal, freedom loving, etc etc Western democracies: a complete inability to act or plan long term or to respond to any severe emergency with a minimum level of state capacity. Whether it is responding against a natural disaster or a crime wave, most Western countries are functionally incompetent "failed states". Funny thing, one of the only things that seem to be working now in Europe is German rearmament.
II had suspected for some time that something was "rotten" in Russia, but I didn't know the level of this "disease". It's sad to see what's happening. It's even sadder that there's no easy way out of this situation.
A good read as usual. Yeah, it has become pretty obvious that Putin deliberately doesn´t do anything, or anybody else from the leadership, especially since the attacks are not just on the disputed territories but now deep into Russia. I read about strikes in Udmurtia...that is...how far away from the Ukraine? 1800km?
I´m also not sure who they want to fool with the usual whining about "evil nazi-fascist are showing their true colours and we are so moral superior". In retrospect, I´m not even sure how I could stand the nearly daily news where the constantly sour-faced tart Zakharova who looks like a cheap hooker from a truck stop was bitching about that stuff.
About the scenario that the russian people might rise up, how realistic do you think is the presumption that the SMO soldiers who are now at home would fight against their own people?
Or would they rather side with them? This guy named "Wolf Stoner"(from Russia) on the National Vanguard wrote that Putin is building a loyal troop of the SMO soldiers, but I´m not really sure if that prediction is true...I guess while the Churkas would have no qualms about shooting on Whites they would not really be loyal to Putin. While some of WS´s writings are ok, it seems he still believes the stuff with "neo-Stalinism".
The other day I gave RT again a brief view. There was some article that Christians and Muslims in the army are praying together. Oh my, how touching /sarc. I guess old Vlad was moved to tears by that.
What's the Russian Nationalist Social brain-functioning Media's take on the alleged attempt at assasination on Putin with the drones aimed at Valdai in February? Especially its [its, its , one doesn't write " it's " for a possessive determiner] --- OK, I already asked what I wanted to ask exactly
" The entire reason that the government of the RF exists is to allow the oligarchy to loot the country and send all the income from this looting to the West"
It seems to be the most logical reason, but then why the neoliberal jewish order aka the "west" provoked this war ? Not fast enough ? They need to destroy russian culture quick and fast ?
That’s a very logical question and the short answer is that a significant part of the “Russian” Ruling class was dissatisfied with how they are treated by their Western Partners. When the Soviet Nomenklatura and KGB liquidated the USSR they seriously thought that they would be afforded the same untouchable status as American and Western European Oligarchs. This did not happen and this the root of the current conflict, the “Russian” Ruling Class wants guarantees on their own personal safety and looting operations. They do not want to change the judeo-neoliberal order, they want a safe and secure place within it that they currently do not have. This is why the Kremlin is religiously obsessed with “international law” and agreements. If you have time read my posts about Dugin and about how the late Soviet Nomenklatura destroyed the USSR, I explain what you are asking about in detail.
Perhaps Putin will, like Milošević, concede to his Western partners all the way to the Hague, richly rewarded with an (early?) grave. Maybe the final 'red line' will be drawn across his neck. Who knows?
Great post as usual, although I admit I haven't read the paragraphs about the 'war' because, as you say, it won't be decided on the battlefield, and anyway, although my entrails scream for a Russian *people* victory, my head tells me the best victory they can get given the ruling elites they have is, unfortunately, an unconditional surrender. Of course a revolution would be ideal, but on the one hand nowaday's life is perhaps too comfortable to expect a people revolt and, on the other hand, I wouldn't ask anyone to do what I myself wouldn't dare to.
There is just one thing I struggle to understand in your post's first part: if the people who run the gas and oil are "a very influential part of the ruling elite" (in other words, if I got you right, they're the puppeteers handling the Kremlin), then they don't need to "demand" anything from Moscow, do they? They can just decide whatever suits them best, given their control of the puppets, can't they? I mean, it's their choice to not allow Moscow get serious about protecting national infrastructure, since that would endanger their yatchs and Italian villas, so they prefer the destruction of the infrastructure. But then, why would they even think of demanding from Moscow what they themselves forbid Moscow to do?
Or am I mistaking two different 'very influential' types of elites?
Well I said it's understandable why the energy Oligarchs don't demand Russia protect National Infrastructure, doing so would risk an escalation cycle and the Oligarchs want to avoid that. Therefore let the Refineries burn
Russia, like China and the West, are in the hands and under the thumbs of the Kosher Nostra. Shalom.
This is an exceptionally good article, Dr. Livci.
It will be challenged by the "Putin is playing 5D chess" crowd,
Your article gives a more realistic scenario than Simplicius's.
Truth can be a bitter pill to swallow.
Omg this is depressing. Although at least you don’t insult your readers while you’re depressing them, like Rurik.

Time to queen the Red Babushka (if she really existed). No? Or maybe the Strategic Rocket Forces has a Last Man standing.
A break in the cycle of Zog political eunuchs suiciding the plebs again would be welcome. The natural course of Russia.
