Moscow Launches a Bunch of Drones and Missiles at Ukraine and You Won't Believe What Happened Next!
Bonus material: The Kremlin wows the International Community with safe and effective hacks for negotiating with Terrorist
The past few days everyone’s been talking about Ukraine’s Operation Spider Web which I’ve already covered as has every other internet expert. The intent and basic modus operandi of Ukrainian strikes against Russia are straight forward, hit oil and gas infrastructure, military targets like those bombers other day, assassinate the less incompetent Generals, blow up bridges and warehouses with saboteurs, and of course just drone striking random cars and apartments if nothing else is going on. The Russian drone and missile campaign against Ukraine however is a far more mysterious and cringeworthy phenomenon. Occasionally Russia will plant an Iskander exactly where it needs to go and blow up a bunch of AFU recruits or mercenaries but as a rule it seems like 90% of Russia’s Gerans, Kinzhals, Calibers and Iskanders vanish into some black hole and don't affect the war in any way whatsoever.
According to reports from Ukraine’s air force, Russia launched more than 19,000 missiles, including over 14,700 one-way attack drones, at targets in Ukraine from September 28, 2022, through December 28, 2024

Thats hundreds of drones and missiles a month for more than 2 years straight yet Ukrainian infrastructure works better than that of many poor countries that aren't even at war. What the hell is going here? As a matter of fact, during the course of this SMO where Ukraine gets hit by mighty hyper sonics on a monthly basis not only does Ukrainian infrastructure work as if it's peacetime but in one exceedingly important aspect is even steadily improving:
The Ukrainian State Statistics Service summed up the results of industrial development in the first quarter. The numbers can be estimated in two ways. On the one hand, last year's growth is being replaced by a decline of 6.1%, on the other hand, such figures are a consequence of the situation in three industries, which can easily change. I mean:
the supply of electricity and gas (the result of a warm winter), the food industry (due to the heat last summer, the harvest was lower) and coal mining.
And most importantly, the production of weapons continues to grow at a galloping pace. So, for military vehicles, the growth rate is 16.5%, which is twice as high as last year, and for weapons and ammunition itself – 36.5%.
And, I think, with this state of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, the most painful sector of Ukrainian industry for us, there is no point in rejoicing at the percentage of its overall decline.

If Ukraine’s MIC is developing by leaps and bounds in the face of Russia’s strategic air campaign than what exactly is the actual goal of this campaign in the first place? We often hear that Russia only strikes military targets and its true, maybe once a month Russia will plant an Iskander on some hapless AFU recruits kidnapped off the street a few days before or some hotel where gay SS LARPing mercenaries are staying. But those particular strikes are exceedingly rare and Moscow crows about them loudly (as they should). But can anybody please explain where the rest of Russia’s rockets and drones are going when the capabilities of the Ukrainian MIC are ominously growing and even the overall drop in industrial development is not due to Russian strikes but rather energy prices and the weather? Remember Respected Readers Ukraine cut itself and Europe off from cheap energy voluntarily, they just turned off the gas themselves to own Putler, but Putler really wanted to keep sending gas. MoDs drones and missiles have nothing to do with any of it. I don't have any clear answers to this mystery, and it's been driving me nuts for a while now. Imagine if the roles were reversed and it was Ukraine with all the Kinzhals, Shaheeds and Iskanders. We know damn well that all of Russia’s military and industrial infrastructure in range of these weapons would have been long reduced to rubble. So how the hell is the Ukrainian MIC growing at a very steady clip while MoD lobs hundreds of rockets and drones at Ukraine every month? That is Russia’s strategic air campaign is not keeping up with Ukrainian MIC expansion. This is absolutely insane.
Now the entire concept of Strategic Bombing is justifiably criticized by some Military Professionals and Historians. For example, NS Germany’s MIC also grew during the Allied Strategic Bombing Campaign however the simple reality is that the Allied goal wasn’t to destroy NS Germanies ability to support its military as it was just plain genocide. The same can be said of the Strategic Bombing campaign against the Japs. The point was just to kill as many civilians as possible under the cover of “well we were aiming for a ball bearing plant but accidently incinerated 200k civilians lol”. Then you have the US campaign against North Vietnam, but North Vietnam was covered in jungles and all its relevant Military Targets were very well protected by the best air defense that the USSR could provide. The USSR provided North Vietnam with a comparatively for that time period better air defense umbrella than NATO can for Ukraine today given the depletion of Patriot stocks. And to top it all off the US was using almost exclusively plain gravity bombs whereas Russia’s weapons are all guided. The point I’m making is that these historical strategic bombing campaigns aren’t analogous to what’s going with the SMO. The effectiveness of NATOs bombing campaigns against Serbia and Iraq are questionable, and again even with those Operations most the munitions dropped were not guided. None the less the visible damage was much more apparent. Factories stopped working, trains stopped running, the lights went out, bridges fell. Nothing like this is apparent in Ukraine. Something heinous and gay is afoot with Moscows drone and missile war. What it is I don’t know exactly but I have some suspicions.
Some commentary on Tsargrad from our disgruntled FSB Colonel and Author of the excellent book Clausewitz and the void Victor Pinchuk:
Russia has received a series of Ukrainian terrorist attacks, which means the failure of the work of the domestic intelligence services. This was pointed out by Andrei Pinchuk, Doctor of Political Sciences, First Minister of State Security of the DPR, political commentator of Tsargrad.
He noted that the Ukrainian operation "Spider Web", during which Kiev secretly assembled drones in Russia, brought them to the right place, released and attacked military airfields, had been prepared over the course of a year and a half, but Russian intelligence knew nothing about it. There were no technical intercepts, transmission of information through agents, hacker attacks - nothing. As a result, the SBU attack came as a complete surprise to the country.
The expert stressed that Russia's special services should not only try to extract intelligence from enemy territory, but also work closely with the Ukrainian diaspora, where there are very influential people who have fled Ukraine. This includes those who, by their actions or inaction, led the situation to the current catastrophe - former Ukrainian MPs, presidents, prime ministers, oligarchs, and so on.
They apparently helping in some way, but we don't see any results. One SBU officer became a senator, the other, the head of government, became a professor at the Russian Academy of Sciences. The third, fourth and fifth are developing well as oligarchs. The sixth of his relatives was promoted to the leadership of one of the largest state corporations,
I don't believe FSB was blindsided by the Ukrainian attack and I expressed my doubts about that in my last post. But let’s cut Pinchuk some slack, even under Malofeevs Krisha there is only so much he can say and what he is saying here sheds light on why all Russia’s drones and rockets aren't doing shit in Ukraine. That SBU Officer who became a Russian Senator is the Honorable Andrei Derkach. From Andrei the Russian Patriots Russian Wikipedia:
During the Orange Revolution, the media holding controlled by Andrei Derkach, which included the Era television and radio company, supported the opposition. Yuriy Lutsenko recalled that Derkach "then supported Viktor Yushchenko and asked me to install a chapel of the Moscow Patriarchate on the Maidan, so that this powerful force would be presented as one of the components of the struggle for Yushchenko... Andrey was very active then. And I want to remind you that in general, the Orange Revolution was largely due to the small broadcasts of the Era radio station, which was controlled by Derkach
In case anyone reading this doesn't know Victor Yushenko was overtly anti Russian, pro American, pro NATO etc etc. Why would the Kremlin make a pro Yushenko former SBU Officer whose radio station was instrumental in the success of the anti Russian Orange Revolution a Senator in the RF? Keeping “your enemies closer” or the Kremlin in general doesn't have anything against SBU and NATO supporters?
The head of State that Pinchuk was referring to is obviously Yanokovich and by sons of the Ukrainian diaspora doing well he may have had this in mind:
Compared to the volume of Russian business in Ukraine, the ownership of Ukrainians in Russia is not so large. However, some companies and their products are well-known. The name of the Ukrainian confectionery company Roshen, whose two factories are located in the Lipetsk region, is still associated with one of the most famous Ukrainian oligarchs— President Petro Poroshenko. However, at the end of August, information appeared in the Ukrainian media that the Roshen company was bought by the son of the former president of Ukraine, Alexander Yanukovych. As the media reported, information about this was discussed on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada for a long time, but Poroshenko himself did not comment on it.
https://m.rusvesna.su/news/1409864313
Roshen was the chocolate company that made Poroshenko an oligarch and he sold Roshens holdings in Russia to none other than the son of Yanokovich . 2 people who we are supposed to think are mortal enemies are actually still doing business together without a care in the world other than too much exposure. Pinchuk as is often the case is just rage posting, that’s what his whole book we reviewed at the Chronicles was since I think he knows none of his recommendations will ever be adopted. He is saying that the Kremlin’s Ukrainians are good for nothing parasites and it can be inferred that they want their seat at the table in Ukraine back. These parasites don’t actually want to destroy anything of value in Ukraine because they are hoping to be able to buy in again. Thats the point of the SMO as far as they are concerned. Then you have someone like Derkach who at the absolute best is only a double agent and of course the Kremlin knows this, they just don’t give a shit because they see his connections as valuable. Probably Derkach has been saying since day one of the SMO that if Russia holds back that the Learned Elders running Ukraine will be more likely to negotiate than if Moscow just blows up all their shit and leaves them with nothing. That article I quoted about Yanokovich’s son and Poroshenko is from 2014 but notice it says that lots of “Russians” have business in Ukraine. Maybe many of these businesses have been confiscated in the meantime but the point of the SMO is to get them back, not destroy them. It also stands to reason that many ethnic pornographers and money changers with Russian and Israeli passports still have assets in Ukraine to this day and there is no way in hell they would sign off on Moscow undertaking Operations that would adversely effect their bottom lines. Therefore, the electricity in Ukraine stays on, the trains run on time, the bridges stand etc etc.
Let’s close out with the Kremlin approach to tackling terrorism, Putin about the Ukrainian attacks in Russia during the Istanbul negotiations:
"This only confirms our fears that the already illegitimate regime in Kiev, which once seized power, is gradually degenerating into a terrorist organization," Putin said.
He also added that "all the crimes that were committed against civilians, including women and children, on the eve of the next round of peace talks proposed by Russia in Istanbul, were aimed at disrupting the negotiation process."
All the dead women and children in Russia won't prevent Moscow from reaching a reasonable agreement with terrorist. That's what makes terrorism so insidious you know, they are always trying to force you to not negotiate with them even though you really want to. Critics might call this cuckery but it’s actually a sign of strength when you can reach a gentlemens agreement with the people that just dropped a railroad bridge on women and kids you are supposed to be protecting. Anyway, they weren't Lavrov or Putin’s kids, if these people wanted to be safe from Ukrainian sabotage teams they should have studied harder so they could hang out with Peskov’s kids in Europe.
It's all so tiresome, Doctor. Your's and Rurik's articles are gruesome. Just to make it clear: no gore or other shit you can watch at Netflix (I by chance watched it with someone else lately, last time was a year ago, next time will be in a year, just to get the vibe). The "gore" you guys show is the utter abyss our world has become since the enemies of mankind are at the helm. 1917? 1919? 1945? You tell me. It's all so tiresome, using the words of my favorite meme. But, hey, carry on. Not because you're a sadist (which you aren't) nor us readers are masochist (which we aren't), but for all of us to stay aware. Without becoming depressed or else.
Just yesterday Ukraine bragged about how much the MIC is expanding in Ukraine:
"SAAB (Sweden), Kongsberg (Norway), KNDS (France–Germany), FFG (Germany), and Raytheon (USA) are actively expanding their presence in Ukraine."
https://mod.gov.ua/en/news/ukraine-announces-a-new-initiative-for-the-joint-production-of-ukrainian-weapons-in-countries-participating-in-the-ramstein-format
I've been following this development for the last couple of years, seeing news like this every other week or so, and I just don't understand how it can be happening if the Russians really are continuously bombing supposedly vital targets in Ukraine. It truly is mind-boggling. If there was a real risk to these companies, I don't think they'd be expanding in Ukraine. This war is very, very strange.
